ChallengeThe customer needed to send out a notice to several hundred company employees. This notice required a written response. The customer wanted to know if there was an easy way to track who responded and who did not.
SolutionISC engineers developed fax bar coding capability. With this capability, a bar code was placed on the outbound faxes sent by the customer. The recipients can receive the fax, insert a response and fax back that same document.
ResultsThe customer now, using ISC's Extranet, can now determine, as to each and every recipient, whether or not they actually received the document and whether or not they responded. From the Extranet, he can easily re-send the notice to those individuals who have not responded.
Services ProvidedThe customer found the fax bar coding to be extremely useful. ISC also provides email tracking, which provides a similar capability. Fax bar coding and email tracking can be used for many purposes, including tracking responses to solicitations and marketing materials.
