Q: How does a fax service work?
With the outsourced fax service provided by ISC International Limited, you send and receive faxes, SMS (text messages), telex and broadcast messages via e-mail. You simply create an email, attach a file and click "send". ISC electronically converts email to fax and delivers it to one or many recipients. We support many e-mail clients including:
- Outlook and Outlook Express
- Lotus Notes
- Web-based e-mail
In addition to desktop/mobile faxing, ISC also offers application faxing. With it, data stored in a customer's application can be sent directly to ISC in text format, SMTP or FTP. Once received, ISC converts that data to a custom-formatted, outbound electronic fax.
Q: How will I know if my message was delivered?
You will receive an email confirmation that your fax or telex was successfully delivered. If your fax or telex was not delivered, you will be notified by email. With ISC's Web Administration tool, you can monitor and manage the details of your company's messaging traffic.

Q: Are my messages archived?
With our Message Archiving service, you can store, search and retrieve your inbound and outbound fax, SMS and telex messages indefinitely and securely - without taking up storage space on your own server. Our message archiving meets the recordkeeping and compliance requirements of of HIPAA and the protected document retention requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley.
